Fan Filter Unit is usually a self-contained ceiling unit for use in turbulent mixing and laminar move cleanroom applications. Fan Filter Unit was designed to provide filtered laminar airflow on the specific area. The unit integrates an increased efficiency fan together some sort of HEPA/ULPA filter. The FFU draws in contaminated air in the top of the module, and exhaust filtered clean air vertically in a laminar air stream with its base.
